Learn more about me
I am a Montreal based, classically trained saxophonist specializing in contemporary ensemble music with a strong passion for new music initiatives. With a bachelor’s in music performance from the Schulich School of Music at McGill University, I interact with many facets of the musical community, both locally and abroad.
I have had the great pleasure of attending the Frederick L. Hemke Saxophone Institute thereby obtaining professional development and learning strategies from international saxophonists. As the Assistant Musical Director of Star Catcher Production’s Curtains, I have had ample experience playing with both jazz and classical musicians. I have enjoyed the great opportunity to perform concerts with Le Orchestre Symphonique de CAMMAC, as well as Le Orchestre Jeux Vidéo. I appreciate the great privilege in studying with Marie-Chantal LeClair as well as having received masterclasses from internationally renowned musicians such as Claude Delangle, Marie-Bernadette Charrier, Joshua Hyde, Dr. John Sampen, Masato Kumoi, and Claire Guimond.
I enjoy playing as a soloist but jump at the opportunity to perform in different ensembles of many sizes from contemporary duets to 20th century mixed chamber ensembles. My personal aims are to share my passion of music with the community around me.
I'm currently available for private saxophone lessons, and I'm always looking for new opportunities to perform and compose. If you're interested in working with me, please don't hesitate to reach out! 🎵
